George Lin, founder
In 2013, our company was founded by George Lin, a paper industry engineer from Taiwan. As a lifelong advocate of analogue photography and art, George was inspired when his paper company introduced durable, sustainable, and customizable stone paper to their production line. This innovation sparked an idea: why not install a camera inside?
George, a film enthusiast, wanted the camera to capture the essence of vintage photography. He meticulously selected the settings and filters to ensure the camera had an old-fashioned feel. The design of the point-and-shoot camera, combined with its aesthetic appeal and user-friendly interface, made it the perfect film-free alternative. Within a few months, the first Paper Shoot Camera, a digital point-and-shoot with dozens of interchangeable cases, was in his hands.

Singapore & Malaysia Team
The Singapore and Malaysia Paper Shoot team began with a TikTok video that caught our attention in December 2021. We wanted to buy a Paper Shoot camera as a Christmas gift for a loved one but found there were no distributors in Singapore. Seeing a great opportunity, we decided to bring these unique cameras to our region. After contacting George, the creator of Paper Shoot, our journey began. Seeing how much people loved the camera in Singapore, we decided to expand to Malaysia in 2023. Today, we are excited to operate in both Singapore and Malaysia, sharing our love for these eco-friendly cameras with everyone.
